Bond Elut Cellulose is filled in a clean 3mL polypropylene cartridge with minimal elution. The granulated cellulose powder bed is secured in place with two 20μm polyethylene frits. The unique rod shape and precisely adjusted cellulose particles maintain a free-flowing feel even when dry. For the cellulose raw material, high-purity cotton with a very high cellulose content is used to ensure optimal packing characteristics of the column. This results in the production of a high-density, highly stable, smoothly packed head column. In addition, the cellulose phase is very stable over a wide range of pH values and has an extremely low metal content (Fe and Cu content is below 5ppm).
